Thanks to everyone who participated and enjoyed the cartoon caption contest! I’m thinking I’ll make this a fairly regular event (though I’ll shorten the submission time to three days). My cat and I truly enjoyed it as well, and had a difficult time (and a fun time) choosing the winning entries.
Here are a couple thoughts I had for future contests: Winning entries could be chosen by me AND by viewers through votes, and then creating a calendar after 12 contests; THe claendar could be the prize for winners of the contest. Perhaps I’d hold a monthly contest for more people to participate in. If you have thoughts or suggestions on this, please let me know. I’d love to hear some good ideas to continue making this an enjoyable event. Thanks!
