The Drive Home (1992)

I remember the unbearable silence as we drove through the miles of wilderness along the North Fork of Glacier National Park. I didn’t know what to say, and if I had, I kept my mouth shut.
(This seems a bit Thurber-esque, I think.)

    If it were Thurber there would be a mechanical malfunction of some type as well.
