The Hoh Rainforest

This is the cozy camp J. and I made for ourselves in the Hoh rainforest (Olympic National Park, west of Seattle on the Olympic peninsula).  This was one of our many backpacking excursions, (many of them in the Hoh), probably in 1996, but drawn in 1998. The raccoons were there, as was the six-pack of beer keeping cold in the Hoh River, and it’s definitely possible that the cougar in the tree was there, too, watching us.
I think you can click on the picture to enlarge it if you want.
     Enjoy and share.
